Lilly Touches Down in Cambridge, MA

We’re excited to announce our newest center for innovation and research: the Lilly Cambridge Innovation Center, which joins our company’s existing facilities in San Diego, New York City, and Indianapolis. The Lilly Cambridge Innovation Center is located in Kendall Square, a hub for scientific and medical innovation. Divakar Ramakrishnan, Vice President of Delivery and Device Research and Development, headed to Kendall Square to give us a preview of our new location.

We plan to work with leading life science experts, academic institutions, and organizations to explore how emerging technologies and connectivity can advance drug delivery and device innovation to improve the health of people around the world. We’ll begin construction of the Lilly Cambridge Innovation Center immediately and hope to open it by the end of this year. And over the next two years, we plan to hire about 30 scientists and engineers beginning the week of May 11 – so if you’re interested in becoming a part of our team, check Lilly.com for open opportunities.

Hi Joseph - We have passed your information on internally.
I am a former Lilly colleague of Dr. Divakar Ramakrishnan and am trying to contact him. I lost track of him when he left Lilly for Moderna. Might you have a phone number or e.mail address for him? Or have him call me at the below listed number. Many thanks, Joseph Alford, Ph.D Engineering Advisor, Eli Lilly (retired) 1-317-331-0928
Thanks for your comment, James. We are sending your inquiry to the Cambridge team to respond to you.
Dr. Ramakrishnan: We represent a company that has just opened a medical accelerator co-working location in Philadelphia University City neighborhood. They are looking for a name sponsor for the site. This may be a great way to enter the Philadelphia marketplace. Can I send you information on it? Sincerely: James A Egan Newmark Grubb Knight Frank 215-246-2750 jegan@ngkf.com
