An Important Reason to Work to End Alzheimer’s

If you’ve been following along, you may have noticed we’ve been talking a lot about Alzheimer’s disease this week. Inspired in part by Brain Awareness Week, we’ve been motivated to talk about Alzheimer’s for another reason: 5 million people. That’s how many Americans live with Alzheimer’s disease today, with projections indicating an increase to13.8 million people with a diagnosis by 2050.

Here’s another look at the numbers:
