The State of the Union was this week, and the reactions continue to pour in, here are a few that caught my eye.
- The President proposed a new regulatory system he hopes will reduce impediments to innovation and eliminate "unreasonable burdens on business."
- In his blog, The State of the Union: Trying to Read Between the Lines on 'Innovation', Brian Reid focuses on the potential impact the President's proposals may have on innovation.
- Science education received attention during the State of the Union address but also from the release of the science results from National Assessment of Educational Progress indicating "Seventy percent of eighth-graders and 79 percent of 12th-graders also fell short of science proficiency'"
See you next week.
