Lilly is committed to ensuring pay is administered equitably across our workforce. For more than 20 years, Lilly has regularly conducted pay equity studies in the U.S. Last year, we broadened our formal analyses to include the United Kingdom, and have plans to expand to additional countries in 2018 and beyond. The overall findings from our analyses were favorable, demonstrating our strong, longstanding commitment to pay equity.
We pay employees based on factors such as performance, experience, skills, job level and responsibilities – not their gender, race or ethnicity – which is critical to our success in supporting a global, diverse, and inclusive workforce with opportunities for all employees to grow, develop and contribute. We investigate any pay concerns that are raised and address any issues we identify.
